An analysis of beneficiary application data from January to September 2026 shows total application volume began quietly, with 48 applications in January and 56 in February, before skyrocketing to 117 applications in March. This high volume sustained through April and May before experiencing a sharp collapse in June, to 42 applications. The slump was short-lived, however, as July recorded beneficiary 122 applications.
New Intakes vs. Barthel Re-Assessments/Reviews
The data shows that intake was consistently driven by brand-new applicants. New applications outpaced re-assessed cases in almost every tracked month, peaking in March at 71 new cases. In contrast, re-assessed cases remained low during the first quarter of the year but grew rapidly from February to April due to rising demand for home care assistance.
Full-Day vs. Half-Day Care
Demand for beneficiaries in need of care givers on a Full-Day Basis consistently outnumbered those on a Half-Day Basis by a wide margin. Full-day demand reached its absolute maximum in April with 90 beneficiaries, while half-day enrollment peaked in May at 41 beneficiaries.
